Dr. Dale Bond is an Assistant Professor (Research) of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at The Miriam Hospital and the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.   He received his PhD in Health Promotion at the University of Utah and was a faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University prior to completing a postdoctoral research fellowship here at Brown.  Dr. Bond’s primary research interests are in behavioral aspects of bariatric surgery, with particular focus on measurement and modification of physical activity and sedentary behaviors in this population.  He is also interested in the effects of behavioral weight loss interventions on migraine, sexual dysfunction and other conditions linked to obesity.
